The best thing about Shimla is that it is visited by tourist throughout the year and there is no particular season to visit.

Shimla Shimla got its name from ‘Shayamla’ another name for Goddess Kali. The hill station is located at about 343 kms from Delhi, capital city of India. Situated at about 2100 meters above the sea level this hill station is spread over an area of about 25 square kilometers. The Kalka-Shimla mail offers a glimpse into the magnificent Himalayan range passing through tunnels and taking steep curves. It has been declared the World Heritage Site by UNESCO as it is 100 years old and runs on the same old tracks till today. It was constructed in 1903 and connects major cities of Himachal Pradesh.
